SEM Account Deletion

At SEM, we respect your privacy and provide users with the ability to permanently delete their account and associated personal data.

## How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from within the SEM mobile application:

1. Log in to your SEM account.
2. Open the Menu.
3. Select *Delete Account*.
4. Enter your password to confirm the request.
5. Your account deletion request will be processed immediately.

## What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

* Account profile information
* Login credentials
* User preferences
* Associated account data stored by SEM

## Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained for a limited period where required for:

* Legal compliance
* Fraud prevention
* Security investigations
* Audit and record-keeping obligations

Any retained information will be handled in accordance with applicable laws and our Privacy Policy.

## Deletion Timeline

Account deletion is initiated immediately after confirmation. Some data may take up to 7 days to be fully removed from backup systems.
